How long does the process take from candidate contact through to hire?

The duration from when a candidate submits their CV to receiving an offer is highly variable. It depends on factors such as the candidate's availability and the scheduling of individual interviews. We've had instances where the process was completed in as little as a week, while for managerial positions, it can extend up to a month. Our main objective is to minimize this timeframe. Rest assured, we strive to keep the process as efficient as possible while ensuring that we select the best candidates to join our great team at Optotune.

If you're not sure which position to apply for or can't find a position you are interested in, but would still like to send your CV, you can do so via spontaneous application.

What are the steps of the recruitment process?

It begins with an HR screening, which involves a phone or video call with our HR department. During this initial conversation, we will discuss your preferences and our requirements for a potential new colleague. Following that, you will have a first-round interview with either a team leader or a senior colleague to assess your expertise for the position and your overall fit with the team and job. Some positions may require a case study or additional meetings with management. The final step is an interview with the department manager. If all parties involved are satisfied, we will extend an offer, and we look forward to welcoming our new colleague.

How can I prepare for interview?

Our interviews are conducted in relaxed atmosphere, so our main recommendation is to be yourself. For technical positions, be prepared for questions related to your expertise and experience. We also encourage you to ask questions to learn more about the job.. Additionally, taking the time to familiarize yourself with Optotune is important to ensure a productive interview.
