Laser processing

The challenge

Laser material processing demands strict performance from system optics, including high-power compatibility, precise beam control, long lifetime, compact design, and fast imaging with autofocus functionality. Conventional solutions based on galvo scanners and mechanical optics often fall short in one or more of these areas, compromising either performance or cost.

Our solution

The FMR-20 mirror, with a 20×20 mm clear aperture and only a few millimeters of thickness, is ideal for sub-degree 2D beam wobbling in compact and handheld kW laser welders. Laser markers and cleaners, which typically require several-degree beam deflection, can benefit from the MR-15-30 2D mirror with closed-loop control. The EL-12-30 and EL-16-40 provide durable alternatives to mechanical optics for in-line monitoring of laser processing targets, offering millisecond-speed autofocus imaging and micron-accurate distance measurement in OCT optical paths.
